Built for the places others do not reach
Outback Comms designs and builds connectivity, monitoring, asset-tracking and lone-worker safety hardware for remote and regional Australia, engineered and built in-house in Bundaberg, Queensland. We serve operations that are spread out and often out of coverage, across agriculture, mining, industry, recreation, government and utilities, and marine.

We follow what customers ask for
Our products start with what customers ask for. We have followed what customers ask for since we started trading in 2022, and it is the reason the business looks the way it does today.
From boosters to Sentinel
We started with Starlink power boosters for vehicles and remote sites. Customers wanted to know their gear was working, so we built Fusion, our smart range that powers and monitors Starlink. Then they asked us to watch their pumps, machinery, vehicles and people too, and Fusion grew into Sentinel. Along the way we built our own platform, Fusion Cloud, to run it all.
What we stand for
Built in-house
Our hardware is engineered and built in-house, and Fusion Cloud is our own platform.
Australian conditions
Heat, dust, vibration and long distances shape every design.
Quality and security
Our quality and information-security management is aligned to the ISO standards.
Where we are going
Our aim is to be a leading provider of tracking, monitoring and control systems for remote and distributed operations.
