Outback Comms
CQ Comms Pty Ltd trading as Outback Comms, ABN 45 664 903 075, Bundaberg, QLD. We design and build connectivity, monitoring, asset-tracking and lone-worker safety hardware for remote and regional Australia, engineered and built in-house, and we are customer demand led.
Three parts, one system
Connectivity
Follows you everywhere, switching automatically between LoRa, on-site Wi-Fi, Starlink and 4G, and direct to LEO satellite.

What it can do
- Long-range LoRa mesh, with range that grows as devices are added.
- Direct to LEO satellite, with Starlink optional.
- A battery in every unit, so it keeps reporting through a power cut.
- Every alarm set in Fusion Cloud, including when a device goes silent.
- Monitoring and control from the same device.
- Tiered access: your own devices and work, your company’s shared devices and work, and partners who can assist without seeing private data unless it is shared.
- Starlink power and mounting for 12 and 24 volt vehicles and sites, plus Starlink service for business.
